Not all bump stops are created equal.
Bump stops serve varied purposes based on their design. Some are designed to reduce wheel up-travel while others do not limit your wheel up-travel at all.

Off-road bump stops such as Durobumps engage during the final 10% of suspension up travel, catering to off-roading scenarios where articulation is key. They are compact, ensuring maximum flexibility on uneven terrains.
On the other hand, bump stops tailored for towing are much larger and engaged during the last 30% of suspension up-travel. This early engagement ensures the shocks have ample time to effectively control and dampen up travel, optimizing stability during towing.
There is no such thing as one bump stop that can do it all because, as we have discussed, the two different applications require a very different design.
